Websphere Application server 6.1 - Managing timeout for server startup

Some of you might have got the following error of - Timeout waiting for WebSphere v6.1 Server @ localhost to start. Server did not start after 300s. while starting the Websphere server.

Here is what you can do to avoid this.
Go to Window --> Preferences --> Server 
Now set the Server Timeout delay to Unlimited
