Eclipse Debug Mode: Variables not showing

 I am running Eclipse Galileo for developers.

When I run in debug mode, the current variables and their values are not coming up in the "variables" window. The window remains empty 

Solution

I ended up trying something easy by resetting the Debug perspective, which seemed to work:

Window => Perspective => Reset Perspective...
